Kids Winter Session
The Sierra Kids Winter Session is the pilot community project sponsored by Conteh & Brown Group and their community partners. The Sierra Kids Winter Session is a weekly camp, offered for 2 consecutive weeks between December 23, 2024 - January 3, 2025. The camp is for the whole family. Tuition includes activities that are just for the children, activities just for their parents and caregivers, and field trips & meals for the whole family.
The goal of the Sierra Family Camp is to address challenges to accessing quality childcare and improve the options & quality of third spaces for families in RVA.

Our journey begins with identifying a problem and envisioning innovative solutions. Currently, we're focused on addressing a critical need in the Richmond area: access to quality childcare and safe and welcoming third spaces for families.
This winter break, we’re excited to launch our innovative Sierra Childcare Co-op program for Richmond-area families. From December 23 to January 3, 2024, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, we will host a Kids Winter Session designed to support working parents during the holiday season. Registration is open now.
